But anyways, I am going to be sharing a few tips on how to relax and have the perfect cosy evening in- I’m so excited to share this post with you all! I just loove a quiet evening in my onesie and a cup of tea, I’m even writing this in my onesie…. 😉 So enjoy!
Get Organised for Tomorrow
This seems pretty obvious, but honestly you can relax soo much more if you get work or anything you will need prepared for tomorrow the night before. Whether that’s simple things like remembering to put your purse or wallet in your bag or checking you know where your keys are, it’ll help you out a LOT!
Power off your phone
It’s all well just putting your phone or laptop to one side, but you still have the urge to check it every now and again, or look at it when a notification pops up- but if you completely power off your phone and then put it away, you’ve got no distraction! This one’s so simple but helps out loads in the evening!
Whether you wanna run a super nice bubble bath, or have a better skincare routine, these things are soo nice in the evening, and really help me to wind down! Sometimes you end up just getting into bed and going to sleep, but taking the time to run yourself a proper bath and wash your face, really improves your sleep quality and is so relaxing!
Read a Magazine or Book
Instead of now checking your phone (because it should be off if you followed the second step haha) find a magazine or start reading that book you were meant to read ages ago. I love reading Blogosphere magazine, where I can catch up on the latest blogs in there, and read all the interviews, or sometimes I’ll read some of my book, and I often forget how much I love reading, so I’m definitely trying to read more often!
Onesies, Pyjamas and Fluffy Socks…
The final thing that really helps me to get super cosy is by far comfy pyjamas and cosy clothes! I have this adorable snood that has little ears agh it’s adorable! I’d love to hear what your favourite comfy clothes are for cosy evenings… I just find that once you’re comfy, it relaxes you and you could even sleep better!
