things to do on a rainy day ideas lifestyle

I hope everyone is doing great! It rained quite a lot today- not that Reenie noticed!πŸ‡…and sometimes that makes you unsure of what to do. AT ALL. And you end up not feeling motivated to do anything! So I decided to make a list of little things and projects you can have a go at doing on a rainy day!

It’s a big ol’ list!…

  1. Read a book you’ve been meaning to read/finish!
  2. Bake something chocolatey (brownies, chocolate muffins etc?)
  3. Learn a new hobby– maybe you’ve always wanted to try pottery or sculpting!
  4. Water your indoor plants– oh no, Mr Prickle needs watering…
  5. Draw Cloud the Unicorn!– Or make her a sibling πŸ™‚
  6. Write some blog post drafts– some ideas: a rambly post, inspirational quotes or even a wishlist.
  7. Play a board game with someone– or make one!
  8. Find out what national day is on your birthday!– You never know, it could be National Odd Sock Day!
  9. Start a scrapbook/journal and add photos and writing!
  10. Paint splatter on a plain old t-shirt!– flick a paintbrush with paint on it over the shirt.
  11. Grab your coat, wellies and old clothes and go for a forest or puddle walk!
  12. Re-organise your room or a room in your house– move things around, tidy + add adorable DIYs!
  13. Send a funny GIF to 4 friends– it might make their day πŸ˜‰
  14. Watch films in your pyjamas with snacks, and even close the curtains for ultimate COSINESS.
  15. Start a bullet journal– or look for some inspiration
  16. Take some arty shots of the rain or a sunset (if there is one! πŸ˜› )
  17. Learn to make some origami– a dice, rabbit or maybe a basket
  18. Throw out old books you don’t want/need anymore and donate them to charity– it’ll make room for new ones!
  19. Watch the rain. This is surprisingly fun and relaxing!
